BONDI TO COOGEE COASTAL BEACH WALK
Archive Bistro & Bar
Archive Bistro and Bar on Waiheke Island.
When you’re visiting Sydney, this is a must do item to add to your travel list.
When you think about visiting Sydney there are so many obvious things that come to mind that you need to see; the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Zoo, the list goes on. However one thing that should be added to everyone’s Sydney bucket list is the Bondi to Coogee coastal beach walk.
To get to Bondi beach we took public transit; riding the train and then switching to a bus. This was by far the cheapest way to get there and it took about 45 minutes from downtown Sydney.
“The views along this walk are stunning. There’s nothing quite like the Australian coast.”
- Lindsey Farrah
Bondi Beach is a huge, stunning beach that gets filled with thousands of beach goers during the beach season. Year round you can catch surfers here trying to catch a wave. We were lucky because we happened to visit this beach during the off season so it wasn’t too crowded. Right next to Bondi Beach is the famous Bondi Icebergs Pool, which is a pool located right on the coast overlooking the water. While we were there they had just drained the pool, but if it’s filled while you’re there I definitely recommend purchasing a pass and taking a dip.
From there we walked along the coast for about an hour, observing the stunning coastline filled with surfers and the occasional fishermen. We ended at Coogee Beach which is much smaller than Bondi, but more intimate as there were far less people there. There is a bus stop located right at Coogee so we were able to hop on the bus and head back to Sydney.

Coffee TimeList Item 2
There is an awesome coffee shop located next to the Bondi Icebergs Pool called The Crabbe Hole. They do a nice coffee and we enjoyed a cup of joe while walking along the coast. See their website below.
