“Waiheke Island has the most stunning crystal-clear blue water. I could’ve spent my entire trip relaxing on the beach and taking in the coastline.”

This gorgeous beach is great for swimming as the water is shallow and calm. The best part of this beach is that you can easily walk to it from town, so it’s very convenient. Lot’s of boats park in this bay so you will see a ton of people coming in from their boats in the morning to grab a coffee.

Little OneroaList Item 2
This beach is also great for swimming and features some really interesting and beautiful rock structures on the beach. We loved this beach because it felt a bit more secluded as there were less people here.
-
Man O’ War Bay
Beach and wine? Yes, please! We enjoyed this beach because it’s located right next to the Man O’ War vineyard tasting room, so you can enjoy a glass of wine at Man O’ War and then move over to the beach to relax. (Check out my favourite vineyards on Waiheke here).

Onetangi
This beach is a whopping 2 km long, so it’s a really nice place to take a walk along the beach. The water here is shallow however it does get some small waves; meaning it’s not as crystal clear and flat as some of the other beaches. This beach had a ton of people on it, however since it's such a large beach it didn't feel overcrowded. You can also walk to some restaurants from here, making it a convenient location.

Palm Beach
This gorgeous beach offers white sand and crystal clear water. There is a playground right next door and some BBQs as well, so this is a great place to spend the day with your family.
